Welcome to our blog

This is just stuff we're talking or thinking about. Sometime it's important stuff to us, sometimes just waffle, sometimes (not often) we think it's interesting.

Dining Out with a Difference?

By Terry Bigland, Feb 11 2015 03:11PM

The Jenkinsons’ Bistro team in Lytham are continuing their theme night successes in 2015 by announcing 3 more dates starting with a St Valentine’s Day Massacre, gangster and moll, evening on the 14th... it could only be then!

With dishes such as Oyster Rockefeller, Griddled Gangster Sirloin and Ragtime Rice Pudding you get an idea of what the night is going to be all about and with a whole lot of fun mixed in you’re in for a great night.

March brings us Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday 15th, very appropriate as Jenkinsons is hosted by a mother and daughter team. They excel in creating magical dishes from locally sourced produce, served up with wholesome service that ensures you quickly become more like friends than clients. With choices of 2 courses for £15.95 or 3 for £18.95 you need to phone your booking in fast on 01253 730512.

Whilst Mother’s Day’s lunch may not have people dancing around the tables it’s going to be pretty much guaranteed on Saturday 21st March with the St Patrick’s Night celebration at Jenkinsons. There’s going to be a lot of blarney mixed in with dishes such as Irish Stew, Dublin Coddle and Guinness Chocolate Cake!

"We have as much fun as our customers”, said Jess Jenkinson who runs the front of house side of the bistro and the daughter of the team “Some get dressed up and some just enjoy the food and fun, everybody is welcome”.

St Patrick’s Night is a 3 course meal at £19.95 and, as with all Jenkinsons’ theme nights you need to book in advance and early as they fill up very quickly, just call Jenkinsons on 01253 730512.
